"The little red clinic with the BIG heart."

That’s the nickname we’ve earned here at the North King Animal Clinic. We first opened our doors in 1976, when Dr. Nancy Lewis Owen began the small vet clinic to serve Western Mass residents and their companions throughout the Pioneer Valley.

"Why is my pet sick?"

What we do is simple – we aim to answer this often worrying question in our clinic’s homey, comfortable setting to help relieve both your worry as a pet owner and the silent suffering of the cat, dog or other animal in your care.

Our professionalism as veterinary doctors is built on our long-standing experience. For over 30 years, Dr. Lewis Owen and her team have given clients and their companions throughout Hampshire and Hampden Counties peace of mind through our range of medical services. These include traditional preventive, diagnostic, and surgical methods as well as the treatment of illness, infection, or injury through alternative, holistic therapies, like acupuncture. We tailor your animal companion’s care in consultation with you at each step, from triage to treatment.
