Community Service
Blending medical excellence with our holistic approach to the life animals play in our communities, North King Animal Clinic gives its charitable support to a variety of public service organizations, local businesses, and charities throughout the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts.
When Dr. Nancy Lewis Owen opened the doors of the clinic to her neighbors in the Amherst-Northampton community, she made a long-standing concern for the emotional and physical well-being of animal companions a reality. This is more than caring for sick or injured pets - it's fuelled by a real compassion for these animals that play such an important role in our everyday lives.
That's why we do all we can to position our veterinary service as an open resource within the community. We actively provide financial and professional support, consultations, check-ups, vaccinations, physicals and other key vet care services as our contribution to the mission of:
-
The Guide Dog Foundation-
Massachusetts State Police Dogs-
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County-
Hatfield Shubukan -
Volunteers in Northampton Schools, Inc.
